My emails are being deleted from the server, meaning I can’t access them from my laptop. The accounts were set up as IMAP/SMTP accounts.
If your emails are being deleted on the server and you carn’t access them from your laptop with an IMAP setup, then sounds like you might have another device setup / configured as a non IMAP eg: POP setup which then by default removes them from the server after downloading to the Inbox.
So check if all your devices computers, mobiles, tablets etc “are all configured with the same IMAP accounts” which then doesn’t delete any emails from the server unless you delete them.
Go to “Menu / Accounts” on your computers and click on your accounts on the left and then you should see an IMAP tab along the top.
If you are using eM Client mobile or tablet apps, press “Menu / Settings” at the top left, and then go down to “Accounts” and press / open your accounts to see if they are all the same IMAP account setups.
Lastly if all your computers and mobiles tablets, etc all have your correct IMAP accounts and your emails are being deleted on the server and you are not deleting them, then I would suggest to next change your mailbox online password as could be then someone might have access and is deleting mail from the server without you knowing.
