Mails from a specific sender don't display images

Hi,
I have noticed that since a few months, mails coming from [email protected] (a streaming provider specialized in classical movies) are not displaying images which renders them unreadable.
Here is an example of a link to an image which is not displayed and this link is in the mail source.

The same mail on the same PC received on Postbox displays fine.
Any help greatly appreciated on how to have the images to be displayed again in eMClient.
Thanks !

I have noticed that since a few months, mails coming from [email protected] (a streaming provider specialized in classical movies) are not displaying images which renders them unreadable.

Could be possible be the eM Client version might need updating depending on what version you are currently running, or could be the Privacy setting restricting images from that sender, or could be a non standard html email.

So first check that you are running the latest V9 or V10 which you can check via the release history page.

If you do update to a later version to test, make a manual backup first via “Menu / Backup” incase you need to restore for any reason. You can see when the backup is complete in Show Operations via clicking the drop-down on the right of Refresh top left. Also close eM Client before updating.

Next if you are already running the latest eg: V9 or V10, and not seeing images from one of your senders, then could be that senders is not allowed or blocked in the Privacy settings.

Go to “Menu / Settings (Preferences) / Mail / Privacy” and check what you have selected to Display from your senders. You can set to eg: display from “Safe Senders”, or Display content from people in your contact list" etc as per the below V10 screenshot.

See eM Client help documentation link below on External Content in Privacy.

https://www.emclient.com/webdocumentation/en/10.0/emclient/default.htm#Settings/Privacy.htm

Suggest for a test to click on the option eg: “Display unsafe content in all messages” and see if that sender email then displays ? You will then know if it’s anything to do with a Privacy setting.

Next if adjusting the Privacy settings make no difference to that senders email, then could be possibly a eg: non standard HTML type email.

So next try “right clicking in the body of the email” and click “Format / Plain Text” on the dropdown menu and see if that displays the email.

If you then can see if the text but no images, then that email would then need to be investigated to see why it wont display images in HTML format.

So if you have a current active eM Client Pro or Personal version, go to “Menu / File / Export” and select “Export to an .eml file” as per screenshot below and save that in a folder on your hard-disk.

Then go to the VIP Support page and login and lodge a support ticket and “attach that .eml file” to have that email investigated
