Hi, Is there a way to turn off the day header in Mail view, it just seems to spread the list out which takes up more room, I would prefer to be able to switch them off and just see a list of my mails in date order without heading gaps.

I think you’re referring to grouped messages. You can turn them off in Settings / Mail in the Message List section. Show messages in groups (on or off)
