It would be extremely useful if the date of the conversations should be the date of the most recent mail sent or received. In addition, the order of the detail should be from the most recent to the oldest.
Is there a way to configure it to be like this?
It is, but depends on what folder you are in.
Because the Inbox is for received messages, the date is that of the last received message in the conversation.
And because the Sent folder is for sent messages, the date is that of the last sent message in the conversation.
It follows whatever sort order you have set for the message list. Because you have sorted your message list Ascending, the newer messages will be at the bottom.

Ok. The sort order of the main lists changes the order of the conversation. Tha’s is true.

Not true. Looking at any Sent folder (I have a lot of accounts) or any search folder or search result, the date is the most recent response. This is not useful for me. A better way to sort a conversation is the most recent date. The bellow picture shows a Sent and a Search Result folder. Both have the same converstaion date.
