Mail is scattered, not in the inbox

Inbox says I have 25± Mail and none of it is in the “Inbox.” Mail is scattered with no rhyme or reason in “important” or “All Mail” which is useless. I want mail in the inbox unless I create a rule. I don’t want the program to decide what is important. I want it in the inbox unless I create a rule. It used to work like that.

If you elected to use Categories during the installation, some messages will be in other Inbox category tabs. If you later decide not to use categories, you can disable them in Menu > Settings > Mail > Categories. Please see our video here which highlights the new features.

Or if they are in other folders, unless you created a Rule in eM Client to move them there, it could be done by the server or another app connected to that account. So check on that.

With Gmail accounts, the server adds the Important tag to some messages, and they will be in that folder as well as in the Inbox, but I don’t think that’s the cause if they aren’t in the Inbox as well.
