M365/Exchange online sync error

Hi,

is something changed lately on Microsoft or eMClient side, started getting this error last week. Latest update few days ago, uninstall/reinstall doesn’t help. Same error with Android client. However, Outlook works without problems, same with Thuderbird (with Owl addon) and my Android with Nine email, works fine. Only eMClient has this problem.

[Exchange Web Services] Synchronizing folder ’ “my.email.address” /Sent’ failed due to the following error: An internal server error occurred. The operation failed., Property: [Calc:PersonId] PersonId, PropertyErrorCode: CorruptedData, PropertyErrorDescription: [Exchange Web Services] Synchronizing folder ‘“my.email.address”/Sent’ failed due to the following error: An internal server error occurred. The operation failed., Property: [Calc:PersonId] PersonId, PropertyErrorCode: CorruptedData, PropertyErrorDescription: .

The Sent folder has ~9000 emails, emClient stops with this error after ~20. Worked fine till last week.

This is a server error, so you will need to contact your email provider for assistance with fixing it.

If this is server error, why Outlook, Thundebird and Nine work without problems. Shouldn’t the server error occur to them too?

Is there somewhere logs I can provide to Microsoft to solve this problem?

Microsoft doesn’t support 3rd party clients unless you are some kind of partner (as you propably knew already), which I’m not. So no support from you and no support from MS. Case closed then and uninstall eMClient?

Unfortunately this is not something we can fix as it is a server error. Only the email provider can fix it.

Maybe try a different email provider?

Ok, unfortunately M365 is from MS, so changing is not possible

Hi Gary. I don’t understand your answer, I have the same accounting problem with MS exchange for messages sent 3 months ago, since the new version of Emclient. I think that Emclient should find a positive solution because I can’t change my provider. It’s my work provider. The choice that I still find relevant, to work with Emclient is that it has pluses that the others don’t have. It’s such a shame to have to give it up, because what’s more I’ve taken out a lifetime licence. Do you think you could solve this very annoying problem? Thank you for your reply and please forgive my translated English.

As it is a server error, it can only be fixed on the server. Please contact your email provider and ask them to fix it.

Bonjour,
Bien cordialement

Hello, My exchange account no longer works, I no longer receive messages and the sent folder is not updated either. I saw that you indicated that it’s not your fault, but the exchange server’s, but unfortunately it’s becoming that way because your software no longer works. I should stop using it. I bought a license and I can’t work with your software. I see on the formu that I’m not the only one. Do you think you can find a solution? It’s a real shame because I think your software is the best on the market. Sincerely

Hi,

i’ll get back to this topic again. Since M365 is from Microsoft and their support only supports Outlook. So when you(we) have problem with eMclient, their response is: Try to use outlook, do you have problem then? Of cource there is no problem, but MS response is “problem solved” and case closed. What else can we do? Also went through our M365 admin portal and there are no “built-in tools” to do anything to M365 account database.

Also tested my problem case, as logs said that I have problem with Sent folder so I emptied Sent totally. Then reinstalled eMclient and it works just fine. But as soon as I sent the first mail from my phone, client tries to put it to the Sent folder, then immediately fails again with the same error as previously. To me it seems that the problem is eMclient that can’t somehow handle Sent folder. The email was sent though.

So how I (and others) could proceed to solve this problem?

After you reinstall eM Client if you then send with the eM Client desktop (and not send from your mobile mail client), does the desktop mail then send ok ? as might then be something going on with the mob client if the desktop sends ok.

I have the same problem as RaunoP. And I suspect the cause is eM-Client and not the Exchange Server. As RaunoP describes, Microsoft does not help as long as everything runs perfectly with Outlook.
