I’ve just sent an email and got a failed delivery notice back. This was because there was an error in the recipients address. I wish to resend the message but there is no record of it in SENT items, therefore I’ve got to rewrite the whole message again.
This is the 2nd time it has happened to this recipient. After the first occurrence I corrected the error in the CONTACTS file but e-client still inserted the incorrect address.
So 2 problems:-
No there won’t be, because the message hasn’t been sent.
You will find the message in the Local Folder Outbox. If Local Folders are not visible below your other folders, you can enable them by selecting Menu > Settings > General > General > Show Local Folders. Click on Save & Close to save the setting.
You can open the message there, change the address, then click on Send.
You selected an address that has errors from those you previously used. What you can do so you are not offered that address again, is remove the incorrect address from the Recipient History, which you will find in Menu > Settings > Mail > Compose > Email Address Suggestion.
