Loss of Data with GMail Contacts

There are some fields that aren’t synchronized between emClient and Google Contacts.

These fields are:

  • Gender
  • Salutation
  • Children
  • Hobbies
  • Anniversary
  • Languages
  • Department
  • Office
  • Profession
  • Manager’s Phone
  • Assistant’s Phone
  • Bank Account
  • GPS

When I update contacts in emClient, everything but Spouse in Relationship group fields are lost.
Address Fields like P.O. Box and Neighborhood not showing in emClient and it’s data is lost too when saving the contact. Same thing happens with custom fields, everything is gone after saving in emClient.

This should not happen and it’s the reason I am not editing contacts from emClient and not buying premium subscription. This is very sad, because this problem persists from version 5 and nobody at emClient is caring about.

Thank you for reporting this issue. We are still looking for ways to improve contacts sync with Google, the fields you mentioned are one of the things currently under consideration. Keep an eye on our updates, we will be rolling out further updates for GApps in the future.
