Looping Database Check - cannot open eM Client

This is a very small database where eM Client was installed about March 2019.  On trying to open eM Client there is a database check and a window that advises tha eM Client was not closed properly.  The check completes and the indications are that problems have been resolved, eM Cleint reopens then after a couple of seconds shuts down and the check starts all over again.  This repeats and repeats and restarting the computer makes no difference.

I have another computer that I can get eM Client installed on but can I transfer the email and folders over to enable me to uninstall and have a fresh reinstall on the main computer.

Fixing the problem is importanat but preserving the data is priority.


Unfortunately if the database is corrupt, there is nothing you can do.

Remove the old database (delete or rename C:\Users\username\AppData\Roaming\eM Client) then after eM Client has started with a blank database, restore from the most recent backup.
