LOGIN Rate limit hit

Just logged into eM Client. Almost immediately I got a popup box and the message “LOGIN Rate limit hit.” The box shows my account User Name (which hadn’t changed), and my password (displayed as asterisks of course). I reentered my password for that account, it popped up again. I exited eM Client and the same thing occurred. THIS IS NEW… I’VE BEEN USING EM CLIENT FOR QUITE SOME TIME!

What eMC version are you using?

This message is coming from your email provider so you will need to speak to them.

I remember an occasion some years back where a provider here in the UK deleted thousands of user passwords, and the users got the same message after repeatedly trying to access their accounts.
