I let it auto configure for gmail and when I click on the login box, it just comes back for me to click “OK” again. In “Operations” there are no errors and it looks like it sync’ing stuff but no mail appears in the in box (gmail web client has 26 emails).
I’ve also tried different versions of the TSL login to no avail.
Any idea of what to set up manually?
Hi Noreen, what version of eM Client are you currently using on your computer, can you please check the exact release number in Help > About?
If you’re having issues while authenticating a gmail account only, are you using two step verification to secure your account?
If not, issue may occur in case you don’t have the “https://www.google.com/settings/security/lesssecureapps” option set to enable, please check the settings of your account and make sure the option is enabled and check if the issue persists.
