Why can’t I display the “To” column in a local folder?
I want to archive mails in a local folder and at the same time see the columns “From” and “To” in the list.
With the mail client “The Bat!” this is possible ;-).
The TO column is only for the Sent folder as in all other folders, you are the recipient, so it is redundant to display it. Just like having the FROM column in the Sent folder.
But if you want to display it for some reason, like as you say you want to store both sent and received messages in a single folder, you will need to first disable Conversations by selecting Menu > View > Conversations > Disable Conversations.
