Loading circle next to main account folder never goes away, also the program constantly says uploading messages .

The loading circle that appears next to the main account folder is constantly there as if the program is constantly attempting to send, receive or upload mail even when it is sitting dormant or has just updated. Please advise as to how I can prevent this? The program also constantly says uploading messages bottom left, accompanied by the send/receive progress bar and logs this basically every second. How can I stop this?

This has happened to me a couple of times since I installed an evaluation of eM Client. Either right click on the em Client symbol on the task bar, or go to Task Manager, and kill the application. Restart, and it goes away.

Hi Leroy,
if the tip from John above doesn’t help, can you share more information about your situation?
What version of eM Client are you running? What account does this happen on, which mail provider? Also, could you copy the content of Tools > Operations > Log tab?

Hi Guys. Thanks for the replies. @John, thanks for the tip. Unfortunately no luck for me. Just continues perpetually. The account is my work account, hosted by a South african ISP called propdata. Was using it on outlook previously. All works perfectly, besides for the constant background activity and loading. I’ll attach the version and log image below. Same problem here - using a google mail account and Google also sending me messages saying the mail client is not secure. Only happened since last update of eM client 6.0.23421.0

I’ll actually need you to copy the text in that log tab, I can’t really read much from this screenshot of it. Also see if there is anything in the error tab.

I’m afraid you are commenting on a wrong thread? This issue has nothing to do with eM Client not being secure.
Can you provide more information about your problem in a new topic?

Olivia - “same problem here” - I too get the circling. I advised re: the security warning as well in case it had some bearing on the issue.
