Loaded v 8 and now cannot receive messages

Happy with version 7. Installed the version 8 and cannot receive messages at all.

How can I uninstall version 8 and reinstall version 7?

Suggestion: turn off AV and try v8 again

I don’t get the advice about turning AV off. How does that fix it unless you leave it off?

It is advice put forward by a number of folks that appears to work, in some instances.

Most AV apps have the ability to exclude certain apps

I have no idea of what AV is and I never received an answer as to how to safely reinstall version 7 so I will say goodbye to emClient.
