live.com account not downloading e-mails

Added my live.com account fine, but nothing is being synchronized (inbox, sent, trash, etc…) No errors, accepted my password during setup… Help.

Never mind, I manually configured imap and smtp settings. I was relying on eMclient to figure out “live.com” settings and that was not working. I used:

smtp
smtp-mail.outlook.com port 587

imap
imap-mail.outlook.com port 143

That worked!

sorry for the inconvenience, eM Client probably tried to detect an airsync mail server, but as microsoft is currently slowly ending the support of AirSync, some servers either start sending these errors or are not able to be logged into at all. The solution at this time is to set up the account as IMAP manually just like you did. We’re sorry for the inconvenience while we’re working on a workaround to include in the next updates.
