In my view, being able to generate a “Task” and link it to an e-mail is fundamental. I understand that eM Client has a built-in task manager, however, it would be very useful to have a link to third-party task manager like TickTick, which is a very well engineered and feature rich one. The reasons for having such integration are:
- Many of us have already task manager apps populated with historical data;
- Dedicated apps are normally more advanced - there is no need to “re-invent the wheel”;
- Since there is no iOS/iPadOS version of eM Client, the built-in task manager can’t be used with these mobile devices.
