Link eM Client mail to third-party task managers

Hi,

In my view, being able to generate a “Task” and link it to an e-mail is fundamental. I understand that eM Client has a built-in task manager, however, it would be very useful to have a link to third-party task manager like TickTick, which is a very well engineered and feature rich one. The reasons for having such integration are:

  • Many of us have already task manager apps populated with historical data;
  • Dedicated apps are normally more advanced - there is no need to “re-invent the wheel”;
  • Since there is no iOS/iPadOS version of eM Client, the built-in task manager can’t be used with these mobile devices.

I wonder what the status of this is. This is such an important feature. In Apple Mail you can just drag an email into a task manager, word document, notes file, whatever, and it creates a link to the email.
This can’t be that complex that it can’t be done. I have no interest in using emclient for tasks.
