Link clicks NOT Opening ANY Browser

I recently set up my laptop (HP Pavilion w/ Windows 11) with dual monitor extended displays and ever since, it doesn’t matter what I do, link clicks in emails do NOT open the link in a browser window.

I’ve checked all the Windows display settings, and it’s all set up correctly based on every tutorial or guide I’ve encountered. I’ve tried changing my default browser to every browser I have installed (Chrome, Brave, Firefox, and MS Edge), but nothing.

I don’t see a "open links in browser’ option in the Mail settings of my eM Client.

What am I missing?

I’m having the same issue. Browser is set as default in Win11 and .htm and .html are set to the browser.

Do you also have dual monitors?

I do not have dual monitors.

If you click a link in another app, such as a link Microsoft Word or Acrobat reader, does that open in a browser?

If you are aware of the implications, you could try Reset all default apps (in Windows settings) and reset browser settings (in your browser settings).

I tried other applications and found that those did not open links either. I ended up closing and reopening the browser and that fixed it. I’m guessing and update was applied and it never closed and reopened. Ever since then, it has been working fine. Thanks for the help.
