Les liens dans les mails reçus ne sont plus (pas) actifs. Obligé de copier le lien, d’aller sur le navigateur et de coller, pénible !
Links in received emails are no longer active. I have to copy the link, go to the browser, and paste it, which is annoying.
That would normally mean that your eg: OS default browser is not working correctly as eM Client relies on that to open url links. So might be something “within your current browser” restricting it opening.
So close eM Client and then try going into your OS settings and “change your default browser to a different one” to test if that is the problem. Then after setting another browser as default reboot your computer and reopen eM Client and see if that fixes it.
If setting another browser “then opens URLs ok”, then reccomend to uninstall and reinstall “whatever browser you had normally as default” and then change it back to default in the OS Settings. Then reboot your computer again.
However if setting another browser as default still doesn’t work, “close eM Client again” and then try opening your File Explorer (Pc) or Finder (Mac) and “right click” on a eg: .htm and .html browser files and open / associate them manually with another browser. Then reboot your computer and try clicking a url link again.
If that still doesn’t open URLs and you are using a recent eM Client eg: version 9 or 10, then you might have something else externally installed on your computer restricting the URLs from opening.
Merci pour ce retour complet.
Ce qui est curieux c’est que c’est arrivé d’un coup sans que je ne modifie rien, avant cela fonctionnait parfaitement. De plus j’ai un second PC avec les mêmes paramètres et tout fonctionne.
Could possibly be malware on that PC? Worth checking.
Thank you for this comprehensive feedback. The curious thing is that it happened all of a sudden without me changing anything; before, it worked perfectly. What’s more, I have a second PC with the same settings, and everything works.
If you have Windows then suggest to try doing a eg: “Registry Restore” back to a recent point when it was opening url links ok so, if Windows has changed in some way that should normally fix it.
