Hey, the nag screen is completely gone. I restarted the program multiple times to test this. Plus: in the License menu it sill says Free without any expiration date.
Agreed. It all seems to have settled down and no nags or pop-ups. So I am happy that the non-commercial home user given a free licence will not have these problems after their trial period of Pro ends. Thanks for all of your support and suggestions.

Just said that i could buy pro or it will revert to free license. No nag screen when starting em anymore.
Thanks heaps - your fix worked a treat. I was seriously considering uninstalling EM Client and installing another email program if I couldn’t get rid of the nag.
