after the recent update (Beta) the left pane (folders etc) is often collapsing. Haven’t been able to replicate when exactly. Is this a bug or just a setting that has been reset?

Update: I was able to replicate it! It happens when I click on the taskbar entry (and then it goes to tray). It oddly does not happen when I click on X or _ at the top right in order to minimize it to tray.
Does this happen, for example, when you move or resize the window?
Alternatively, could you be accidentally using the shortcut for toggling the left panel (F9 by default)? You can change or disable this shortcut under Settings > General > Shortcuts .
I turned this shortcut off but it still happened. It does not happen when I move, resize, minimize to taskbar or “close” to tray - at least not directly. But after some time I suddenly notice it is collapsed. I think (but I am not sure) it happens after a certain time being closed to tray.

Thank you for the additional details, I am still not able to replicate the issue, so could you perhaps share your Display settings? For the monitor this issue happens on and if you use more than one, include the settings for the others as well, please.
The fastest way to get there is via right-click on your Desktop > Display settings and in the “Scale & Layout” section, copy both the “Scale” and “Display resolution” for each monitor.
Also, do you have the program open in full-screen or in a smaller window?

I am using a laptop. 200 % (recommended), 2880x1800 (recommended). I have it open maximised, i.e. it covers the whole screen (without being in a special full screen mode hiding certain elements etc).

What happens if you try the default display scaling at 100% ?
The problem remains at 100 % (as far as I can see using a magnifying glass - kidding).

Since a couple of weeks ago, both the folder pane and the right tasks pane show collapsed every time I start eM Client.
Any news on that or is it something that is planned to be fixed? It is more annoying than the description might suggest.
