Leaves messages on the client server, how do you change this option?

I’d like to configure the eM Client software to remove the emails from the server after I open the eM Client program, I can not find that feature in the setting.

If you’re using IMAP, they stay on the server. If you’re using POP3, there is an option under the account settings to leave messages on the server. If you un-check that box, the messages should be deleted from the server after they are downloaded to the client.

Thanks, I knew (thought??) I should have been able to do it. Found out that the automatic setup feature that eM Client uses defaults to the IMAP version.

Reestablished the account as a POP3 and all is well.

Thanks for the nudge for me to check the account type!
