This can happen when you have quite a high scaling in your Windows display settings.
To check if that is the issue, reset the scaling to 100%, then restart eM Client.
If that resolves it while using 100%, you will need to wait for the next eM Client release, which has a possible fix for this at higher scaling.
The reset of scaling to 100% solves the problem (in some way - at least the line is displayed in full), but this is not practical, since the Laptops-resolution is 2880x1800 and scaling to 100% is absolutely unreadable.
Looking forward for a prompt bugfix.
Thank you.

I run a 2K res 2560x1440 at 100% normal size in eM Client as otherwise things are too small in the higher resolutions in many programs.
Have you tried running standard 2K res ?.
This could possibly help - but I bought the Laptop to have a smooth display to be easy to read - so reducing the resolution is contra-productive. So the step is mathematically correct, but not as intended. But thank you for your response …
I bought the Laptop to have a smooth display to be easy to read
You will also find that running a resolution of 2K is also normally “much smoother & quicker” as well as “much easier to read” as way less strain on your eyes. So still a high-res but nicer on the eyes “if you use it for very long hours a day” as I do.
Also if your laptop supports it, try also adjusting the video htz to 120htz at 2K from the default 60 as will give you a much smoother picture too.
The other thing in eM Client you can do "if you want to keep the 2880x1800 res which sounds like you do, is "rather than adjust / scale the zoom from 100% is "change the default font for reading and composing messages / mail " sizes via “Menu / Settings / Mail / Read” and “Menu / Settings / Mail / Compose”. That way even at the higher res like you have or even 4K res, it’s easier on your eyes as well reading or composing email.
Well, that all seems to be a good idea. But everthing is all right with eMClient (and all the other software pieces) - everything but this tiny little Bottomline
I think this is a small bug, that can be healed without a lot of work.
So I willl be patient …
I have tried all different resolutions today right up to 4K (Zoomed / Scalled in alot with Ctrl + many times) and i cannot replicate that partially obstructed URL link at the very bottom of eM Client.
See when i highlight a URL link in an email below where i can clearly still see the URL link line at the bottom of eM Client.
I wonder if its a problem with that specific email and not eM Client related. The URL link size allways stays the same (when you highlight the link) and its only the email body that Zooms.
Perhaps I forgot to mention, that this effect occures with eMClient 9.0.1361 - as I can remember, the versions before showed me the full line - even with the high-resolution and the scalefactor…
So I think the eMClient correctly scales the Textsize, but misses to scale the Bottomline height.
As far as i’m aware of eM Client has "never scaled the bottom URL / Link " to avoid issues. @Gary do you know if any previous versions of eM Client scaled the URL line / Link at the bottom ?
When you change the scaling in the Windows display settings, all application interfaces will be scaled by the OS. In this case it looks like due to the high scaling %, there is not sufficient space to display the link preview.
The next release should fix this.
