PLEASE yes! LanguageTool would be amazing!!!
I temporarily switched to Thunderbird to test the integration of LanguageTool. I have to say: I miss it extremely in emClient. It is available in Obsidian, LibreOffice and Brave (Browser), where it offers great support. This is also the case in Thunderbird, but overall, emClient is – for me – the more convincing solution for email, etc., which is why I returned to emClient.
I would love to see LanguageTool integration in one of the next updates, similar to LibreOffice, where I can use the free version or (my) LanguageTool account for correction.
Same for me. I use LanguageTool in Thunderbird and I love TB for this. Would be really great if LanguageTool can find its way into Em Client. LanguageTool is a great addition to many other Applications in which it can be used and would be a great fit to Em Client.
There is actually a Beta of language tool with full application support for em client.
But still has a few problems …
It’s a very good news ! Thank’s
Have we a public access to this beta version ?
Great News! Any update for windows or linux users?
Alas since LanguageTool went subscription only and I liked LanguageTool that I took out a special priced 2 yr subscription to it. I then asked them something about the Cancel Button. The next email I got from LanguageTool people was that they had cancelled my 3 day old subscription. Subsequent emails to the thread went unanswered.
Currently using Grammarly in emClient but Grammarly insistent pops for paid version and their recent antics with their AI and using experts for answer without their permission has soured me on Grammarly.
