I wish there were a keyboard shortcut option to open the “Tags” widget. On Gmail’s web interface, hitting “l” will bring the “Labels” widget, allowing me to label a message with the keyboard alone.
It will be great to have the same on eM Client.
I have moved from Thunderbird, reluctantly. TB. has excellent and simple tagging. It is the MAIN reason I used it.
I am trialling emClient and I am finding a few issues that don’t seem to work.

I am a Mac user and I can see ONLY Cmd +F# as an option for shortcuts. This doesn’t even work for any tagging. Nothing happens!
Cmd + F# is not a practical use for me. I want to use CTRL + num.
Are there any ways around this restriction?
I love keyboard shortcuts, hate using my mouse, and it is one of the primary reasons I chose emClient! Due to a new position I am becoming highly reliant on tagging. It would be very beneficial if emClient would allow a single key shortcut to begin typing a tag! It would also be helpful if the left hand menu could display tags from the different accounts, not just local tags.

There is an eM Client Sleekplan suggestion below that might be what you are looking for. If that is what you want, you can vote for that idea via the link below and add any comments to that.

“Quick tag” menu/keyboard shortcut
Quote:- In Postbox, with a message or thread selected, there was a keyboard shortcut that opened up a tag text box, and you could type in the tag you wanted to apply (with autocomplete and you could use commas to add multiple tags) and they would be attached to that email. Much faster and easier than needing to click through the tiny tag icon and select from the list, especially if you use tags a lot and have a lot of different tags.
