Just updated license to 'Free' now has error connecting

I’ve downloaded eM Client about a month ago and was using it with 2 email accounts without issue, and today I added my ‘free’ license key.
I’m now getting this erorr showing - but I dont know how to find out what this means. Does it mean it can no longer connect to my email account?

For ref, its a standard IMAP based account.

I’ve tried restarting eM Client.
Here are the logs

This check seems to pass , and I get the test email.

Seems like your getting “Lost connection with server” errors.

IMAP] MailClient.Accounts.ConnectionException: Synchronizing folder ‘Main Email account/Sent’ failed due to the following error: Lost connection with server
—> MailClient.Imap.Base.ConnectionLostException: Lost connection with server

If it’s only just started happening and was working ok, I would suggest to first “power off your computer and modem / router for 1-2 minutes” and then power back on and see if that fixes it, as could be a Physical connection or ISP problem.

If still the same issue, suggest to next “contact your Mail server technical support” to check if there is any server problems or outages atm. Let them know you are getting lost connection errors as could be they might have server issues atm.

If there are then no mail server issues, then if you have any eg: Optionally installed Firewall / Security programs or Optionally installed Antivirus programs or VPNs , try completely disabling those to test incase of interference.

Lastly if you have no optional programs like that installed then update what your IMAP “Server address, Server Port & Security Policy” is and we can then see if there is any obvious errors.

Also update what version of eM Client you are using and also if you have Windows or Mac and what OS version.

Thanks, I’m not sure what happened. I hadnt made a change except updating the license to Free.
When I had the error I checked the IMAP account using Outlook 2021 and there were no issues at all. I’m using Windows 10 with the 10.3.1738.0 version of eM Client.

I’ve tried again today, and it seems fine in eM Client
