Is there any way to have the IMAP Junk E-mail sync without having to first click the folder? My server puts spam in the junk mail folder and unless it syncs, I have no way of knowing that new spam has shown up in that folder until I click it, then it syncs. I want it to sync each time it syncs the inbox.

And I’m not sure if I understand the problematic, why do you want your client to sync junk mail? if you receive a lot of junk mail, it would generate more traffic and your regular emails would take longer to download since there would be a considerable amount of junk mail to be download before. If you have some important emails sorted as junk mail, you can always white list the domain or the mail address.
