Junk E-mail vs Junk mail

I’m using IMAP with eM Client, and the “Junk E-mail” folder is mapped to the IMAP’s folder named Spam.  Looks like the eM Client’s built-in “Spam filter” rule moves junk e-mails to folder “Junk Mail,” not the designated “Junk E-mail” folder, which is the IMAP “Spam” folder.  Is there a way we can change it so that all junk e-mails go to the “Junk E-mail” folder?

There should only be one folder for junk. It may be that on your IMAP server there are more than one, possibly created by a phone app or other email client.

What you can do is check the IMAP settings in Menu > Tools > Accounts, and then by clicking on the IMAP tab, make sure that the correct folder is mapped for junk.
