Good morning everyone. I wanted to know if eMclient is compatible with standard low vision/disabled aid tools. We are evaluating this product for our users, and some of them have visual impairments and need third party tools to move and/or read text. We have noticed that reading the text within a received email does not work, reading stops at the header of the email, but does not go to the body. We have tested eMClient mostly with NVDA screenreader. The version mentioned above contains several fixes and improvements based on feedback from visually impaired users and we received a pretty positive response from them.
Please give it a try and let us know if you find any issues.
Thanks a lot Tomas, unfortunately we use Jaws as standard tool for these persons, and Jaws, at least with versione 2019, has still some troubles with eMC. We can’t change to another tool because it’s a kind of “standard” and peoples are used to it… The version we tested is exactly the one you mention. We will therefore try to find something else for this specific topic, thanks, Michele
