Ich bin derzeit in der 30-Tage-Testphase von eM Client für Mac und stoße auf ein frustrierendes Problem: Die Textgröße in HTML-E-Mails lässt sich nicht vergrößern.
Bei meiner Recherche im Forum habe ich zahlreiche Beiträge gefunden, die bereits fünf Jahre alt sind und genau dieses Problem beklagen. Man würde annehmen, dass ein so grundlegendes Usability-Problem längst behoben wäre.
Ich habe:
- Die Textgröße in den Einstellungen auf 30pt erhöht (wirkt nur bei Plaintext)
- Den Designeditor durchforstet (ändert nur UI-Elemente, nicht E-Mail-Inhalte)
- Command/Apfel + Plus versucht (keine Wirkung)
Die Benutzeroberfläche lässt sich wunderbar anpassen, aber die E-Mails selbst bleiben in einer winzigen, kaum lesbaren Schrift - was den gesamten Client für mich fast unbrauchbar macht.
Wurde dieses Problem mittlerweile gelöst? Gibt es eine versteckte Einstellung, die ich übersehe? Oder muss man sich auch 2025 noch mit dieser eingeschränkten Funktionalität abfinden?
Vor dem Kauf der Vollversion ist dies für mich ein entscheidendes Kriterium.

Have you tried the right/secondary-click > increase to increase the font?
If that does not work either please send us more details on your device and ideally a screenrecording to [email protected] so we can look into this.
To increase the font in the body of the email, you can also do that with the mouse scroll wheel or use the keyboard.
1). “Click in the body of the email” and press the “Option key & use the Scroll wheel” up and down to increase or decrease the font size on Mac.
Or
2). “Click in the body of the email” and press the “Command key & + or - keys” to increase or decrease an email font size on eM Client Mac
3). To reset the font to default size, “click in the body of the email”, and press “Command & Option + 0 key” on Mac.
The Zoom-Shortcuts are not working. But it works if you use the right/secondary-click and than manually click “increase front” etc.
A big plus: em client then remembers the settings and will show all emails with the bigger font setting automatically.
(I am using em client on mac os 15.6.1 right now and I use em client version 10.3.2622.)

Your keyboard Command and Control might be reversed. So try the Control key & + or - keys
You can check or change them in your Mac OS Settings / Keyboard / Keyboard Shortcuts / Modifier keys.
