The creator of this calendar had also included his birthday with this, and on subscribing to this, the birthday notification refuses to be snoozed or dismissed.
Deselecting the checkbox to this calendar also doesn’t make this reminder go away and it is pertinent to state that this reminder remains open as long as eM Client is running and it can only be closed by closing eM Client.
