Is there a way to limit the amount of mail downloaded?

I’ve got a lot of mail on the server and want to use the client on a tablet device with limited storage. Is there a way to limit the amount of mail to say, the last 30 days?

Hi, this is not possible. Only thing you can do is to use POP3 protocol and set it to delete emails (from the server and device) after … days.

But if you will use IMAP you do not need to worry about space, IMAP does not downloads all emails by default. Only their headers.
