Is it really this blasted slow?

Just installed emClient on Windows 10 (on a fairly fast gaming machine) and while the user interface is wonderful, it’s painfully slow updating the screen. I can sit here and watch all the components of the gui update when I switch messages (and I’m not even downloading images).

There are also a handful of SQL errors on startup, but I don’t think they are related.

Hi,
v8 is very fast and smooth on my Win10, 16GB ram, SSD, GTX 1060 graphic card PC (if it can be of any help).

I’m running v8 on a 35W core i7 - pretty minimal horsepower - but it’s plenty snappy and noticeably faster than v7 was.
