iOS V11.0.579 Beta Mobile app now available in Testflight

Thanks for making the Beta available and great to see how far it has come along. Great to see the PIN messages feature is now available, but I realized that there is no possibility in the mobile client to add a pinned folder to the favorites and also I could not get pinned messages to sync from MaOS client to mobile iOS client. Had to rein every single one of them.

The missing global folder Pinned on the mobile is bug and will be fixed soon. Syncing Pin status for the message is dependent on the email provider you use. For some providers it is technically possible to sync it (EWS, MS Graph, Gmail, some iCloud accounts, IMAP accounts with reasonable labels support), for some there is no way how to sync to Pin status. It is very similar to syncing Snooze status. What email provider do you use?

Using various (Gmail, iCloud, Zoho Mail and Hetzner IMAP) so understand that it might not always work. Interestingly I saw some messages had a mark of pinned but did not show up in the pinned list in the “All Inboxes”. Unfortunately I have now already cleared all out so cannot send a screenshot anymore.
Other thing I saw after installing the beta the initial sync failed and the mobile app crashed. I have sent the crash report via apple’s app crash reports. saw this on both iPad and iPhone. After restarting the app seems to sync though …

Another issue I have been running into is that emSync is constantly finding a conflict between the macOS system and the iOS system. When I select to overwrite the data on the iOS system the app crashes. Thought you might want to look into it. Crash report submitted via Apple crash reports …

Using the iOS Beta V11.0.579 & Mac V11.0.473 with a Gmail IMAP account and Categories enabled on both, “the Pinned messages in the Inbox doesn’t sync at all”. I also had to manually pin both devices separately.

Just updated to the latest Testflight iOS Beta V11.0.627 and the Pinned Messages in the Inbox “now do sync pinned status” between the Mac desktop and the mobile app :slightly_smiling_face:.
