iOS Push Notifications Not Working for Google Workspace

I am a long time eM Client Windows user. I finally decided to try the iOS app, and for the most part, I am extremely happy. However, there is one issue that may be a deal breaker. Push notifications are not working on the primary Google Workspace e-mail account I use for work. Push notifications are working just fine on my Outlook.com, GMail, and my legacy free Google Workspace personal account, just not on the e-mail account I need the most.

I’ve disabling and re-enabling push notifications for the account in question. I’ve tried disabling and re-enabling eM Client notifications in iOS. I’ve tried re-authorizing my Google Workspace account. I’ve even tried completely removing and reinstalling the app and re-importing my settings from my Windows install. None of this has solved the issue.

I’m fairly certain the problem is somewhere on the backend because I have the exact same issue on my iPad.

Has anyone else experienced this?

I’ve been in touch with @oakhurstmgmt privately, but I’ll post our conclusion here to wrap it up.

The issue wasn’t tied to Google Workspace accounts, but a specific case where the same address was used as a login for another account as well. It caused the system to process it as the different account and not push the notifications.

Our developers adjusted the code so that this can’t happen anymore. It will take effect in one of the future releases. Thank you for your help in getting to the bottom of it @oakhurstmgmt!

Just a follow up to this. eM Client updated on my iPhone and iPad recently, and now all Google Workspace push notifications are coming through just fine. A big thank you to the developers for being so responsive.
