Insecure links in emails

I have used eMClient for years. My ISP is talktalk.net. For some time they have been sending me an email announcing my monthly bill, which contains 6 links to talktalk relating to my bill and account with them.
The problem is these links are not downloaded by eMClient and do not appear in the email showing in eMClient. There is just a blank space. The rest of the email shows OK. The links all show on my talktalk webmail and work properly. The webmail inbox has a yellow padlock by the email and the following message is displayed “External images in this email use an insecure connection. Those images were automatically adjusted to enforce a secure connection (https). Some images might not be shown.”

How can I get eMClient to download the links as well despite the apparent insecure connection and the fact that the images have been changed??

The clue is in the error message:
the email from talktalk.net has insecure links, you should advise them.
It could be something as simple as “http” as opposed to “https” the latter being secure the former not.

¡Buena suerte!
