I’m a bit disappointed by the new calendar integration in eMClient on Android as it doesn’t support color labels from Google Calendar.
I followed the discussions and explanation that and why color labels are not supported in eMClient on desktop (I’m not talking about calendar color but event color). That they didn’t include this feature on mobile just shows, they seemingly just don’t care about it.
This is quite disappointing as:
- emClient’s labels will not sync across devices and are basically useless that way
- labeling events with color can help to highlight certain events like deadlines
This way eMClient’s calendar integration is not the best choice for me to use.
Before anyone repeats the statement “this isn’t possible from Googles API”, yes it is. There are many (even open source) examples out there that will sync event colors.
