For a few days now, incoming emails have been immediately moved to the trash.
I need to retrieve them and move them to my inbox.

Have you added any Rules recently?
Check : Settings >Mail >Blacklist and Whitelist
Check on your Mailserver for any Blacklist or Trash settings

If you have V6-9 the Rules including the Blacklist will show via “Menu / Rules”, where by default you will only see the basic Spam rule as per below example. If there is any other rules in there dblclick them to view them.
If there is alot of rules in there and you are unsure if any of them are causing this issue, suggest to uncheck them all to test.
If you have V10 then make sure to click “Manage Blacklist” in Settings to view any blacklisted.

I had a rule on eBay that when an email arrived, it would be deleted straight to the trash.
I hadn’t made this rule! So I deleted it.
In fact, I had made some purchases on eBay, and they went to the trash.
Let’s see how it behaves now.
