“Include when sending/receiving emails” no longer works

Since upgrading from version 8 to 9.2.1577 (9f64452) “Include when sending/receiving emails” no longer works.

I’ve tried checking the “Include when sending/receiving emails”, saving, exiting eM Client, opening again, back into settings un-checking “Include when sending/receiving emails”, saving, exiting eM Client, opening again but with no success.

This is happening to two accounts that I have.

Need more information.

Who is your mailbox host / provider ?

Also do you have a POP, IMAP, Exchange, Office 365 or iCloud account ?

Also what are you incoming mail server settings via “Menu / Accounts” ?

Hi, same here, several account with “Include when sending…” unchecked are checked nevertheless. Apparently even automatically in background (but “Sync items every …” is unchecked!)

Those IMAP settings are correct presuming your server is imap.ionos.de which appears to be the incoming mail server for ionos.de, and your eM Client version is up to date so could be a eg: “resident background program possibility blocking or interfering with the mail client”.

So if you have any optionally installed firewall security / programs, or optionally installed antivirus programs or vpns “other than what comes default with your Mac”, then try completely disabling those to test in case of interference.

If you have no optionally installed programs like that or you do but disabling makes no difference, then in eM Client “click the dropdown on the right of Refresh” and click “Show Operations” and click the “Log tab” and look for any obvious error messages and paste them in this thread. We might then be able to see what it’s no longer connecting.
