Inbox item not moved to trash when deleted

Hi,

Just trying EM Client after years of Microsoft BS from outlook.

Overall initial impression is very good but I have discovered a major annoyance.

I initially set up EM Client using the automatic import from outlook and that found my gmail account and old outlook files with no issues… The end result was quite disorganized and chaotic (my fault not the software’s). I did notice however that when I deleted an email from my inbox, it stayed there instead of being moved to the trash folder.

I uninstalled everything, deleted all files, and re-installed with no import (I just setup my Gmail account) but still have the same problem. Hitting the delete button adds the trash flag to the email but does not remove the inbox flag. How can I fix this?
