Hi Andre, apparently you’re trying to perform backup while having the backup storage set to your installation folder, that’s unfortunately forbidden, you most likely don’t have the write permission for this folder.

Change your backup sotrage in the application settings and try to perform backup again.

Hi again Andre, I’m afraid your database is corrupt at the moment and you have to remove the database from your App Data folder.
Before you do so try to run this utility one more time to make sure if the problem persists, http://www.emclient.com/tools/dbrepairrebuildall.exe

If your issues continue and you’re unable to load the database after running the dbrepair tool, please navigate to your App Data/Roaming folder and rename or remove the current eM Client folder.

Next time you open eM Client a new database should be created allowing you to re-setup your accounts, unfortunately any local data may be lost as the database is corrupt and no longer accessible for eM client.
