Impossible to read email to,from,etc. due to black background

Just loaded your cM Client 5 on my new Hp dv7t running Windows 8.
I opened two accounts. One from Comcast. One from Google.
Everything looked great, then I closed cM 5. When I next clicked on the START screen tile for cM, all of my email messages (that I had prior to closing the app) were ‘there’, but all were blacked out … completely blacked out. Now what???

Are you using a template? Can you please post here a screenshot?
