import read mail from gmail

em client will not import email from gmail unless it has not been read.  The read mail doesn’t come over.

Are you by any chance in the Unread folder in eM Client?

Are you using IMAP or POP3?

In eM Client, right-click on the All Mail folder and choose Properties > Repair. See if that helps.
