iMIP time zone error message requires clicking

Dear Madam or Sir,
I get an iMIP error message whenever I click on mails from a certain sender (our sports club). I have attached the two error messages and pasted the contents of the ics file that is contained in one of the affected e-mails.

Is there any explanation to why this happens? And wouldn’t an error banner at the top of the message window suffice instead of an error pop up that requires interaction?

The ics file doesn’t specify a timezone, although it is referenced. It is invalid so eM Client won’t open it.

There is another error also, or more of a warning, for line 12 that starts LOCATION:. The line is too long so does not follow RFC standards.

Whatever application/calendar created it is the cause of the errors.

I agree with @Gary there are time zone and other elements missing - I have run your meeting details though the event maker that we use, the result is below:

Dear Gary, dear Skybat,

thank you very much for the insights! Do you know if there is any possibility to disable this error message? Or is it programmed this way “on purpose” so that users may influence developers to ensure standard conformity - I would be fine with that.
