IMAP yes, SMTP no

I am setting up an email account. I tried the automatic setup first. Seem to be able to get the IMAP to test ok, but not the SMTP. Tried it manually with the same results.

which exact version of eM Client do you have?

Which e-mail service are you trying to configure?

Can you make a screen shot of you account settings (without showing your private data)? IMAP + SMTP tab page.

Hi David, are you using any firewall proxy/firewall software on your computer? What mail service are you using with eM Client?
Are there any errors displayed by the application?
