Since the latest update, I am receiving this message on my gmail accounts.
Sometimes that error can be caused by eg: “something within an email itself” like eg: characters beyond the standard ASCII set of letters, numbers, and punctuation marks etc.
However as it’s only happened after upgrading, then suggest to first try uninstalling eM Client and if you have Windows “don’t delete the database” when asked on the uninstall wizard.
Then if you originally installed eM Client directly from the website, download “the same or later version” of eM Client via the release history page and reinstall it and see if that fixes it.
If it still doesn’t fix it, then go to “Menu / Accounts” try “removing and readding your Gmail account” via the automatic account wizard at the top. Then once added “save account settings” and close and reopen eM Client & see if that fixes it.
If that then fixes the problem, then make a backup via “Menu / Backup” incase of any future issues.
