IMAP fails to sync

I’ve been using eMClient (6.0.21040, Win7, at work on office network) for months, and all of a sudden monday at 4pm (GMT+2) it stopped syncing to my IMAP server.  I’m not having problems with the IMAP account on OS X Mail (at home, on home network) or on my iPhone (4G network), so I presume it’s an eMClient problem.

In Options -> Accounts -> Diagnostics tab, yesterday both SMTP and IMAP were failing.  This morning, SMTP seems OK, but IMAP still fails.  When I “Fix”, it says “settings have been fixed”, but I stil get the red triangle and my email is not coming through.

Hi Jeff, are you seeing any connectivity errors while using the application? Do you receive these errors while trying to fetch new email? Are you having issues while sending messages, or with any other service regarding this account? What mail service are you using with eM Client?

The only connectivity errors I see are with this account.  The only other account setup is iCloud; I only use the iCloud calendar and contacts, not its email, and the calendar and contacts work properly.  I can now send, but not receive.  My mail service is my website host’s service, modwest.com

I deleted and recreated the account in EmClient, and the newly created account works.  I don’t think I did anything different, but unless the problem comes up again, we can consider it solved.

Hi Jeff, I’m glad it works, maybe your hosting service made a few changes on the server and using the automatic setup again helped to find the correct settings. Or might have been a temporary issue on the server.
