I have had the same fault for weeks (eM Client 10.4.4867 and 10.3.2622).

Is there a fix or solution?

To figure out what causes the error, we’d need full IMAP logs.

Go to menu>Settings>Advanced
Enable IMAP logs for the affected account.
Save & Close the Settings.
Shut down eM Client.
Reopen eM Client and wait for the error to pop up again.
Once it does, restart eM Client once more.
Then send the IMAP logs to [email protected]

You can find the log files via menu > Help > Open Logs Directory.

This error usually happens because the Archive folder already exists on the server but your email client is trying to create it again with a slightly different path or name. Check your IMAP folder settings and map your archive location to the existing archive foldr instead of creating a new one, or rename/delete any duplicate local folder causing the conflict. Once you resync or restart the client, it should recognize the correct folder and stop throwing the error.

Yes as @MrDoom3412 advised for an IMAP account go to “Menu / Accounts” and click the IMAP tab and look at the bottom in “Special Folders” and make sure that the Archive Folder name “matches the Archive folder under your IMAP account” as in the below Gmail example screenshot where eg: All Mail is the Gmail Archive folder under a Gmail account.

Some IMAP account Archive folders are just called Archive or User-Archive etc.

If the Archive folder name doesn’t match your account, then remove “automatically detect special folder names” and update to the correct Archive folder name.
