I am trying to create an imap subfolder and then a mailbox within the account using eM Client.
In Outlook and Thunderbird I can create the subfolder called test2 by typing in the test2/ and the subfolder will be created. This is a folder directory, not a mailbox and is at the root level of the mail account. When I do this using eM Client I get this error.
Imap error, “Creating folder failed with error: Folder name contains unsupported characters”.
eM Client can browse these folder created by Outlook or Thunderbird.
I am sorry but it is not possible at the moment.The only possible solution is to create a subfolder under an account and name it “test2”.
