IMAP Connection Failure with Gmail when Using VLESS + Reality + Vision Proxy

Issue: I am experiencing issues with synchronizing my Gmail account on eM Client when using my self-built proxy server with VLESS + Reality + Vision configuration. While other accounts (like my self-hosted email) work fine, Gmail consistently fails to establish a connection.

Problem Details:

• The error in eM Client shows that the connection to Gmail’s IMAP server failed due to an unexpected EOF or 0 bytes received from the transport stream.
• This error is specific to Gmail, and it does not occur with other email accounts like my self-hosted email.
• When I test the same Gmail account with Outlook, there are no issues.

The error log indicates a failure to establish a secure IMAP connection with Gmail. The error is caused by an IOException and specifically mentions receiving an unexpected EOF or 0 bytes from the transport stream.

Environment:

• eM Client Version: 10.4.4867 (Windows)
• Operating System: Windows
• Proxy Configuration: VLESS + Reality + Vision

There is no support documentation on this free community forum for help connecting eM Client through that. All i can suggest if you haven’t already is to contact your Proxy server technical support and they can do their own testing with eM Client to see how to configure that to work.
