I am trying to set up iCloud mail in eM Client.  I still use the old .mac email address.  When I run Diagnostics, the SMTP comes back okay.  However, I get my _credentials are being rejected_ when trying to run the _Fix_ under IMAP Diagnostics.  I suspect it has something to do with the fact that I still use .mac instead of .icloud.

My settings: General
User Email:  [________@icloud.com](mailto: ________ @icloud.com)
Authentication: [________@mac.com](mailto: ________ @mac.com)
Password: I verified I have the correct password by logging in online

My settings: IMAP
Host: imap.mail.me.com
Port: 993
Security: Use SSL/TLS is available
Authentication: Use these Credential
User Name: [________@mac.com](mailto: ________ @mac.com)

Any advice is appreciated!

Hello Jennifer,

Can you try signing in by using just your username without the “@icloud.com” or “@mac.com”?
Example:
User Email: [________@icloud.com](mailto: ________ @icloud.com)/mac.com
Authentication: username
Password: icloud password

Try that and see if it solves the issue.
